I installed the plug-in. I couldn't find it, but I watched the video and got it into my content browser. Once I place the camera in the scene, I get a black screen from the camera perspective. I drag and drop, and I select it from the menu. Any reason the camera is not working?
To save on performance, the auto exposure only works when you are actively viewing the camera, but not in the picture in picture mode. In the viewport, click Perspective -> Placed Cameras-> Your camera, to see through the camera. That enables the functionality and you will get proper exposed results. Again under the assumption you are using physically correct light values, which Unreal sadly does not by default. If in doubt just set the intensity of your directional light to 120.000. Then you should definitely have a working camera view.

That sounds strange! If you can’t see in the lower right corner, that sounds like something in the scene is obstructing the view. Can you try a different camera preset and a different position? If it persists, please attach a screenshot from the view and the cameras settings, so I can investigate.
Since Cinematographer is a control layer on top of the default camera, it is usually just a brightness issue, I never encountered anything you are describing.
For setup, it really is just dragging and dropping one of the presets into the scene with physically correct lighting and using it.

I still don't see anything in the camera view in the lower right side. I can see when piloting the camera. Is there documentation on how to install the cameras and test if they work correctly?

If the camera is black after you added it the answer is on most cases, that your light is not strong enough. Are you using physically correct light values?

This is correct. I was able to actively view the camera, get the exposure, and the PIP showed up. I didn't know I needed to look through the camera first, but I now have the right set-up. Thanks.
