Welcome!
Hey, thank for getting in contact and thanks for bringing up this issue!
That looks very strange, I haven’t seen anything like this before! It is probably an issue with one of the post process effects. Could you please go to:
YourRealCamera -> Camera Component -> Post Process -> Rendering Features -> Post Process Materials -> Array
There you will see 3 Materials each with a slider set to 1.0.
Could you please set all of them to 0.0 and see if the problem still persists.
If its gone, could you set the Materials back to 1.0 one after the other and check which one causes the issue.
The name of the Material would help me a lot closing in on the issue.
Again thank you for your report!
Subject: Re: Purple Artifact Issue - Post Process Materials
Hello,
Thank you for your prompt response, I really appreciate it.
I followed your suggestion, and it seems that the issue arises from a combination of the 2nd and 3rd post-process materials. Interestingly, this artifact doesn't always appear consistently—it seems to occur intermittently and disappears on its own at times.
Additionally, I suspect the issue might be related to floating point precision errors in the post-processing effects. I’ve noticed that it tends to occur when the project becomes heavier and more complex, though this is just a guess.
I hope this information helps in narrowing down the issue. Please let me know if you need any further details.
Hey, thank you for your testing! So it looks to be connected to the lens un-sharpness. Does the artifacts disappear, if you disable Realcamera -> Cinematographer Features -> Lens Un-Sharpness enabled?
Yes, it was Enabled and if I turn off it fixes the issue.
anther way to fix the issue which I used is just copy the real camera actor to another location and it also fixes the issue.
Hey, thank you for testing that!
I think I found a solution for the issue. Could you please open RealCamera_LensSharpness Material under Cinematorgrapher PRO/Lite Plugin Folder -> Resources - > RealCamera_LensSharpness. There select the big end node and set under Details -> Post Process Material -> Blendable Priority to one 1. I attached a screenshot as guidance.
That fixed it in very a similar case I encountered. Please let me know if it helps, then I can bundle it into the bigger update scheduled for later this month and fix it for good.
