Virtual Camera / Connecting it to iPhone or Vive based vcam workflow
How can I use the Unreal virtual camera functionality with this? Or can I? Has that been tested and confirmed to work? Both controlling it via iPad and/or LiveLinkXR/Vive? Thanks.
Welcome!

Hey, thank you for getting in touch!
In our first update we made sure that everything worked fine with the virtual camera setup. So in theory you should be able to just replace the camera in your virtual camera actor with a RealCamera and it should work as you would expect. Have you tried that?
Sadly we currently can’t look further into the matter, since we are in the process of moving offices and are still waiting for our PCs to arrive. If a new update from Epic broke the process, we are committed to update Cinematographer to get it working again, as soon as our gear arrives.

How do you replace the camera in the VCamActor?
Hey Patrick, I will look into it and get back to you as soon as I have a result!
I just gave it a test run and the solution is rather simple.
Just add the Real Camera as a child to the VCam Actor and set the Transform to 0. When you have setup everything and the VCam is connected, just change the viewport to the Real Camera and now you have all the benefits of Cinematographer in the Viewport and on your AR Device. I hope that answers your question and solves your problem!
