Focal length requests

Hi folks,
Just wanted to request a few classic lengths missing in the cinema high-end lens collection: 28mm, 32mm & 50mm.

Thanks!

Actually I've found the focal lengths and aperture combinations I'm after when using the budget cinema lenses. Are there any real differences quality wise between the high-end and budget lenses?

Also, I'm relatively new to working with Unreal. Is there anyway of bringing up some sort of exposure monitoring, such as an RGB histogram or zebras? Thanks!

Hey Adam, welcome aboard!

Please excuse the late reply, for some reason no email notification was send for this thread!

Regarding the differences of the lenses, yes they are actually quite pronounced but still subtle at the same time. For a more cinematic look the budget lenses may even be preferable because they have more “flaws” and thus a more cinematic character.

The realtime monitoring is not very well implemented. The only halfway usable tool is the HDR (Eye Adaption) overlay. You can find it under:

Viewport -> Show -> Visualize -> HDR (Eye Adqption)

It gives the lux and EV of the scene as well as a very rough exposure overview in form of a graph. It’s not much but I hope it helps anyways!
